Tim Andrews

‘’’Tim Andrews’’’ is a conservative / libertarian blogger most famous for a controversial blog post which claimed that the conservative side of politics has the most attractive young women . Andrews is a former student politician who was President of the Sydney University Liberal Club and of the Australian Liberal Students' Federation . He was also a keen member of the New South Wales Branch of the Liberal Party and he currently resides in the United States where is employed as an Associate Fellow at Americans for Tax Reform .

In 2003, Andrews ran for the position of President of the University of Sydney Students' Representative Council with the support of the Liberal faction, but was defeated by Felix Eldridge of the National Organisation of Labor Students (NOLS) faction.
Co-operation with ultra left groups
Andrews also stated his desire for the ALSF to "begin dialogue with the Grassroots left, independents, “The Gathering”, Australian Democrats and National Liason Committee to ensure a non- Labor majority at NUS Conference Floor".
Blogging
In 2009, Andrews started a blog called ‘Inside the mind of Tim’, a blog dedicated to espousing his free market libertarian views. Soon afterwards, he attracted controversy when he published a post outlining P. J. O'Rourke’s ‘Babe Theory Of Politics’, replete with pictures of attractive young women from the Liberal Party . Andrews claimed that "To put it simply, we have all the hot girls" . The post attracted almost immediate controversy, and resulted in condemnations from Barry O’Farrell and Pru Goward, among others , Andrews pulled the post after the media storm, and then sought to defend himself from suggestions that the post was sexist and inappropriate .
Since then, Andrews has co-founded Menzies House, an Australian centre-right opinion website, whose contributors mostly comprise members of the Liberal Party . The website published an article by former Young Liberal Nick Sowden, who was expelled from the party for comments he made implying that US President Barack Obama was a monkey .

He is currently an active member of the H.R. Nicholls Society, a right wing industrial relations discussion group. Other groups he is a member of include The Centre for Independent Studies and the Samuel Griffith Society.
