History During the fall semester in 1997 at Clemson University, a group of handpicked men was chosen to form a collegiate a cappella group known as Tigeroar. They began their tradition by sporting orange blazers and singing Clemson's Fight song, the "Tiger Rag". Tigeroar first sang solely to pump up the Clemson fans for events on campus. Later, through the advising of founder and director Dr. Dan Nash, the group grew and is now a part of Clemson events throughout the year, as well as events and competitions at various locations across the nation. Travel Tigeroar does not only perform on Clemson's campus. They have performed in places such as New York, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Michigan, and Washington DC for competitions and shows. Some of the competitions Tigeroar has performed in include the SoJam and ICCA competitions. Awards Tigeroar is a very decorated group. The group has professionally produced seven CDs. They have also appeared on the Best of College A Cappella CD twice. Tigeroar has received many CARA (Contemporary A Cappella Recording Award) nominations.
