Ahmed Faseeh, Often known as Fasy, is a guitarist. Born in Maldives, , he came to Malaysia in August 1996 to obtain a degree in information technology at the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology. He began his musical career when meeting another musician, Viji, at a pub in Medan Damansara, a week after his arrival in Kuala Lumpur. He played at this pub often. He have been playing guitar for 28 years. In 1997, Fasy met Tony Warren. They performed several shows together, with Fasy as Tony's guitar player. In late 1997, he met with Bala, a veteran showman who also performed with him multiple times. Fasy has performed with many famous Malaysian musicians, including Paul Ponnudorai, Amir Yussof, Rafique Rashid, and Purple Haze. After graduating from Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology in 2000, Fasy, along with Rekha Raveenderan, formed a production studio named DigitalTones. They made a debut album, Sangkeertanam - Songs to Divinity, an Indian devotional album. Over 50,000 copies were sold in Malaysia. It was during this year when he released his first solo album entitled Starrs, which includes the hit instrumental "Starrs". After this came Nil Gavvanee, a Malaysian Tamil hip-hop album by Boomerangx, was produced at DigitalTones and released in 2001. Much later in 2004, he released his second solo album Cruising which carries the mega hit instrumental "Your Betrayal" and some songs from his first album Starrs. Right after that in 2005 Fasy released an album compiling the hits from his previous albums and including some new material, hence the album title A Compilation.<ref name="nst"/> Some of the new tracks on this record turned to one of his first hit songs, such as "Rising". In February 2006 Fasy returned to his home town, Male' and performing on his first self titled concert named "FASY- Live in Male'". Later that year in May he released this show as a DVD. Since then the he has appeared on a numerous amount concerts. He has now formed a band called FASYLIVE along with fellow musicians, Abdullah Arafaath (a.k.a. Addo)who has now been replaced by Graham Simmonds and Ibrahim Samih (a.k.a. Ibbe'). They have released two albums, Vengeance and Silver. Still 28 years of guitar experience, he is able to play Megadeth solos plus other solos! He have been one of the judges for the Maldivian Guitar Idol.
