The Wagner Companies

The Wagner Companies manufactures and stocks standard products for metal fabricators and also produces custom products — primarily for handrails.
The Wagner Companies is comprised of three product divisions — Architectural Catalog, Architectural Custom and Wagner Industrial.
Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the company has been active in the metal trades since 1850. In 1955, Adolph Wagner began working on the products for which R & B Wagner is now known.
With the acquisition of the J.G. Braun Company in 1997, Wagner complemented its existing R & B Wagner catalog of stock products for tube and pipe railings with the stock ornamental railing products of a firm dating back to 1887.
Starting in 2005, in a departure from its standard products, The Wagner Companies manufactured and sold Festivus Poles which are used in the celebration of the December 23rd holiday. A Festivus pole made by The Wagner Companies was used by Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle in 2005, and is now in the possession of the Wisconsin Historical Society.
