Biography
Formation
The Ultra Cheesy Flubbed Up Nuclear Cheesballs formed in 2005 when members PJ Spackle and Mari Herring met at a Christmas party in Anchorage, Alaska. They recorded an EP entitled Songs Composed In An Insane Asylum By A Former Politician A Llama in PJ's garage. Due to local success of the EP, they invited longtime friends Yoshi Kata and Bob Tofu (born Musashi Takahashi), to join the band.
Albums
Music of the Gods: The Complete Dance Trilogy 2006
The band's first full-length album was released on August 29, 2006 to local success. Their first single, Cows Go Moo created a religious controversy with its unorthodox use of the figure of Jesus throughout. The group was criticized on several other occasion with its anti- song titles and lyrics.
The Soundtrack to Your Bathtime 2007
TUCFUNC's second CD sold poorly for the first several months until the second single, Emo Dreamo Screamo was released. The album sold fewer copies than Music of the Gods, but was the first CD to receive radio play for The Redneck Country Song. The single was surprisingly well received in the southern United States. It was released on March 9, 2007
===They Are Coming... Hide the Cheese! 2008===
The band's third CD was more successful than its predecessor and was fueled by its re-recording of the single Cows Go Moo as well as The Duck Song. It was released on December 13, 2007
908s & Headaches 2009 - Present
