The Tboy Show

The Tboy Show is a British sitcom produced by MTA Productions and created by Debra Odutuyo and Andrew Osayemi, the creators of the sitcom Meet the Adebanjos.
The sitcom is set in Peckham and is about a rich Nigerian boy coming to London to live with his aunt and cousin. It follows his trials and tribulations as he tries to fit in with his new family and get on in the big city. The show stars Tolulope Ogunmefun in the lead role, who is the face of popular Youtube channel 'Dont Jealous me' which as of December 2015 has had over 38 million views.
Series one aired on local TV station London Live in April 2014 and was one of the channels first original comedy commissions. The series was directed by Debra Odutuyo and had 8 episodes.
In mid 2015 it was announced that a second series was in production. Tolupe would also be writing the second series with co-writer Nick Withers, while Quason Matthews would take on directing duties.
In late 2015 it was announced the second series will feature on the multi-ethnic content platform Lebara Play in an exclusive content deal with MTA Productions. The new series will contain 15 episodes and will launch in the Spring 2016. The new series will also feature fellow Youtube star and actor Humza Arshad in a lead role.
