Marc Swadel is a Director/Director of Photography and creative from New Zealand. Marc is a noted Live Music/ Music Video Director/Director of Photography having shot over 100 clips (Iggy and the Stooges, Sonic Youth, Libertines, Bailter Space) and was Director of Photography/Director for Live on the Warp Films rock feature 'All Tomorrows Parties'(Director ). He also was Director Of Photography on the Korean language feature 'Desert' directed by Stephen Kang, which was completed in March 2010. Marc and his brother Paul ('Swad Bros') made the 'Supercollider' series of 35mm Digital Short films - two of which 'Supercollider:Guns' and 'Supercollider:Infection' won the Supreme 'Premio Ultravisioni' award for short film In June 2010 at the Ostia Film Festival in Rome. Marc also helped launch Comedy Central in New Zealand in April 2009 through his role of Creative Manager for MTV Networks New Zealand. He has also undertaken roles at Agencies - Mother London, Saatchi & Saatchi Auckland and Publicis Mojo, and in 2009 was chosen from a world-wide search has one of Wallpaper Magazine's online field directors. Also of note, Marc developed and pitched, then Directed and Executive Produced two series of 'Rockfeedback TV' for Channel 4, UK, and MTV Networks Europe in 2005/6, and was a Saatchi and Saatchi New Directors Showcase alumnus in 2003, at Cannes. Marc is currently resident in Saitama, Japan.
