Lorraine Cink

Lorraine Cink is an American actor, comedian, internet personality, and fangirl. She is best known as writer and host of Marvel's The Watcher a comedy news show about all things Marvel and interviews comic book creators and celebrities. She is native of Bakersfield, California. She performs comedy in New York City at the Peoples Improv Theater, Magnet Theater, and the Upright Citizens Brigade. She is also known for her own web show the Lorraine Show and her former web series, Girls Side Rules.
Personal Life
Lorraine was born in Northern Hollywood and raised in Bakersfield, California. She notably had hip surgery as child during her time there and attributes it with instilling her with a good sense of humor and a love of comics. She studied at Acting at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Santa Maria, CA as well as Musical Theater at University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. She also has studied improvisation and sketch at The Peoples Improv Theater, Magnet Theater and Upright Citizens Brigade. In her downtime she teaches (at the PIT) and performs live.
She currently resides in Brooklyn, NY with her dog Robot.
Career
Lorraine is an equity actor who began her career in Theater, performing regionally with various productions after college. In 2008 she began performing at the Peoples Improv Theater where she now teaches and continues to perform. She additionally performs at the Magnet and UCB in NYC.
She began writing and directing plays in 2009 with Milk Can Theater Company. Her play "Emilia's Wish" was nominated for an Innovative Theater Award in 2010.
Marvel's The Watcher
In January of 2012, she began writing and hosting the weekly comedy news show Marvel's The Watcher after the departure of Grace Randolph. She has interviewed celebrities such as: Joss Whedon, Nic Cage, Idris Elba, Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Clark Gregg, and many more, in addition to covering live events and red carpets.
