Lindsay Zir (born July 23, 1976) is an American actress from Sherborn, Massachusetts.
Born in Newton, Massachusetts, Zir was raised just fifteen minutes away in the small town of Sherborn. From the age of 4, Lindsay has been performing on stage as a ballet dancer and an actress in local theater. She attended the prestigious Boston Ballet School for many years and was taught by some of their most elite company members. There, she performed in A Midsummer Night's Dream and the company's annual Christmas performance of The Nutcracker.
A New York University alumni, she attended Tisch School of the Arts with a major in Drama and studied with the Atlantic Theater Company. She later transferred to NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study where she was able to continue her studies with Atlantic but have a more liberal arts curriculum. In 1999, Zir graduated with honors, holding a Bachelor's degree in Drama.
From 1999-2000, Zir lived in London, England where she worked in theater and film. She played the title role in Romeo and Juliet and had roles in various independent films, one of which included the Welsh film Natural Causes.
