Teddy Alexandro-Evans is a British-American actor born November 5, 1980, to parents Zharklene Evans (nee Jackson) and Charles Plummer. Teddy was raised in Aston, Birmingham, England and came to The United States in the summer of 1994. To battle his shyness, his mother would often enroll him in school plays, which helped propel his love of acting. His first summer job was as an extra in an educational film "Conflict Resolution".
Teddy attended Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis High School in New York City. It was during his High School years that Teddy performed in productions such as "Fame" where he played Montgomerey McNeil and student films "The Marcy Murders" and "The Lost River" trilogies.
Teddy graduated and enrolled in Herbert H. Lehman College in the Bronx where he studied Theatre. He can be seen auditioning for Soap Net's original series "Who wants to be a Soap Star" but did not make it to the show. In 2005, Teddy was cast in the off-off Broadway production of "What Life May Bring". He played the role of Marc, the gay love interest of the lead character. Following WLMB, Teddy was cast in season one of the straight-to-DVD production of "Christopher Street: The Series" where he played Ian Cooper. Teddy followed this up with his biggest role to date, that of lead villain "Mr. Nobody" in Vokda Martini Productions "Hell's Gate" in 2006.
In the spring of 2006 Teddy became the host of local cable acess show Fruta Extrana, in New York. It is interesting that for "Fruta Extra" Teddy does not use his british accent. He was told by the directors not to use it. This has lead to MUCH confusion and speculation of Teddy's origins. Fruta Extrana was canceled in the spring of 2008 right before Teddy filled in as one time host of another cable acess programme "Out At the Center"
As of 2008, Teddy is in talks to star in another Independent feature entitled "Black Beauties". Teddy currently resides in New York City, and is openly bisexual.
