The Paramount Ballroom is a modern ballroom facility in Palm Beach, Florida. History Paramount Ballroom was founded in 2006 by US Nine-Dance Champion, Alec Lazo. It features DVIDA-cerified instruction and is accredited to teach dance on a professional level. Upon completion of their dance college, teachers become certified ballroom instructors. In 2008 it became the training spot for Cheryl Burke and Cristián De La Fuente for Season 6 of Dancing With The Stars. The couple went to win third place in the competition. It was given the award of Top Dance Studio in Dance Heat USA 2009. Most recently, the ballroom has become the host/sponsor of the Palm Beach Atlantic University Ballroom Dance Club, which provides college students professional dance training at affordable prices . The students have proceeded to win awards in dance competitions |
