The Kennedy Half-Century is a non-fiction book by American political scientist Larry J. Sabato, to be published in 2013 by Walker & Company. The book's focus is John F. Kennedy, spanning his life, presidential administration, and assassination. The book will include new polling by Democratic pollsters Peter D. Hart and Geoff Garin on present day views of Kennedy, both among those who were alive during Kennedy's presidency and those who were born after his death. In addition, The Kennedy Half-Century will feature interviews and focus groups with the public, key players, and witnesses to Kennedy's assassination.
The book will be accompanied by a PBS documentary and is a part of the University of Virginia Center for Politics' Golden Anniversary Series which reflects back on key 50th anniversaries of political events.
