The Freshwind Band

The Freshwind Band, led by Andrew Gazaneo, Brett Shaw, Jon Long, and Melissa Ninaber, is the youth and young adult worship band of Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship in Toronto, Ontario.

Andrew Gazaneo, together with his wife Sarah, are associate worship pastors at the church, serving under Senior pastors Steve and Sandra Long.

The Freshwind Band leads worship for various TACF conferences including Freshwind (the church's annual youth conference) and Heavy Rain (the church's annual young adult conference).

The Freshwind Band was first formed in 2003, when Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship pastor Duncan Smith suggested a few of the youth and young adult worship leaders/songwriters play together at the annual Freshwind Conference. Held annually over Easter weekend, Freshwind Conferences draw thousands of high school students and young people who want to experience a greater passion for Jesus, an outpouring of the Holy Spirit's presence, and the love of God.

Formerly called Youth Network Band, The Freshwind Band changed their name in 2007 to better represent their band's identity. Having been birthed out of the conference, the band members decided this new name was a good decision.
