The Color Bars

History
The Color Bars is the recording project of Brooklyn-based singer/multi-instrumentalist Gerald Slevin. The Color Bars' first album Making Playthings was recorded in New York City after which they relocated to Seattle, recording the follow-up to Making Playthings, Kairos at Infinity, and touring all around the Pacific NW. The band also toured in Japan during this time. Their latest album, Prosopopoeia, was released on November 15, 2011 and garnered attention from many blogs such as Spinner and Street Date. Under the Radar called the album "...jovial psych-pop tune..."
