The Barn PKT is the nickname for the Gamma Omicron chapter of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, located at California State University, Fullerton. It is more commonly known as "The Barn", named after the fraternity house that was bought by Phi Kappa Tau in 1966. It stands on the corner of State College and Yorba Linda in Fullerton, California. It is the oldest fraternity in Orange County, being founded in 1960. History Gamma Omicron chapter of Phi Kappa Tau was founded in 1960, making it the oldest fraternity in Orange County. It wasn't until 1966 when "The Barn" was purchased for about $40,000 and the fraternity was moved to its new location, right across the street from Cal-State Fullerton. |
