Thaddeus Moore

Thaddeus Moore is the owner of Sprout City Studios and Liquid Mastering in Eugene, Oregon.
History:
At 18 years old, Thaddeus decided he wanted to pursue a career in art. He spent a year traveling abroad, then decided to seek a studio apprenticeship upon his return to the states.
In 1996, Thaddeus began studying audio at a local community college. He found the courses helpful, but sought a more hands-on approach to learning. Around this time, a friend proposed an idea to open a studio space that could allow for rehearsals and recording. In searching for locations, they found a warehouse in west Eugene, Oregon formerly used for bean sprout production. This space would eventually become Sprout City Studios.
With the help of three friends, Thaddeus opened Sprout City Studios on Sept. 27th, 1997.
Over time, Moore's fellow studio owners left the business, leaving him the sole proprietor of Sprout City Studios. Working live sound and odd jobs, he saved enough money to complete the studio's construction. Moore has worked with a variety of different artists locally, as well as larger acts such as Frank Black(of The Pixies) and the Catholics and Thomas Mapfumo. He acts as a consultant and beta tester for iZotope.
In 2014, Moore began construction on a new studio, aimed solely toward audio mastering, where he plans to conduct business for Liquid Mastering.
