Maa tv has had a contest to support and encourage Telugu Short Films. Youth is very attacted these days to make or to watch the Telugu Short movies. These are getting watched by millions staying around the world. Few short films are even dominating full movies.
Maatv started the contest for Short films and conducting the contest every year to promote them. Few are gaining fame thru short films and that it lays a path for them to enter into Telugu Films.Few Tollywood heroes like Sudheer Varma (SecondHand fame), Raj Tharun (Uyyala Jampala fame) are notable from Telugu Short films.
