BMAD Bikers Make A Difference Charity Fund Raiseres in Devon

BMAD - Bikers Make a Difference Charity fund raisers Devon, UK
The BMAD Bike and Music festival is one of the biggest family May bank holiday attractions & highlights of South Devon’s social calendar. http://www.bmad.co.uk/festival.html
The event as it is now a major tourist attraction expected to bring an extra 15,000 to 20,000 visitors to Paignton and at least 12,000 bikes of all shapes and sizes!
Volunteer’s who share the love of motorcycling have been raising funds since 2003 and in 2009 distributed over £35,000. The beneficiaries included Air Ambulance, St Johns Ambulance and many disabled children and their carers. This year we are confident that it will do even better.
It started in 2002 with an idea by the founders of Bikers Make A Difference - BMAD, Kelvin and Jayne Halloran. That idea was to have a social gathering of bikers on Paignton Seafront in Devon. He wanted to raise money for charity and have a good time as well.
Paignton Bike Night saw its birth in 2003 and has gone on to become the longest running largest regular social gathering of bikers in the South West of England. The BMAD 2010 Bike and Music festival has a bigger stage with more bands and varied music, spanning the full three days of the festival. There are always arena events each year with spectacular biking related shows and a Wall of Death. There are a full range of food and beverage tents, motor cycle related vendors & merchandise and motorcycle competitions. Suitable for young and old there are displays of fascinating two wheel and three wheel bikes.
The festival opens charity fundraising Wednesday Bike nights at Paignton Seafront which runs until September. (The BMAD 2010 Bike and Music festival as it will take place over 30 April, 1 & 2 May).
