T.R. "Tina" Threston is a businesswoman, socialite and philanthropist. She was born on November 13, 1966, in Newark, New Jersey. She is the founder and C.E.O. of World Guide Publishing as well as travel writer and author. She was nominated for a 2014 Women in Business Stevie Award and a 2014 National Association for Female Executives Women of Excellence Award. She is a Social Media Ambassador on behalf of the United Nations/92nd Street Y Giving Tuesday program and served as a delegate for the UN and PVBLIC Foundation 2014 Media 4 Social Impact Summit. She is a Global Ambassador on behalf of the women's empowerment non-profit Collective Changes. T.R. Threston is captain of a KIVA team and has raised thousands of dollars in mircoloans for the program. Activities and awards T.R.
