Biography of System Of Survival, living artists of international renown in the field of Electronic music:
A prolific Italian remixing, recording and producing outfit, S.O.S. comprises Alessandro Carpentieri (aka Alex), DJ/producers and Pietro De Lisi (aka Bingo, Dellis) an experienced studio technician and DJ.
The duo met in 1988, DJing at the same party and soon started playing together all over the countries.
With a dj career that spans almost over two decades and has seen them build up a huge reputation through their performances in top clubs, they are one of the first acts to gain a continuing residency at CircoLoco, the now legendary Monday morning party which is held at the world famous DC10 club in Ibiza.
Collaborating with important promoters, and playing in some of the most important clubs of the Europe and the South America.
Over the years, System of Survival have remained committed to their purist notions of what good dance music should be, continuing to create a wall of sound which ignites venues and clubbers around Europe.
It's like a jam inspired continually by the people on the dancefloor and by their wide and deep musical fondness and knowledge.
They play together and go round like a jigsaw. Whoever's playing the tune coming out the speakers, the other cut in effects, beats, acappellas.
System of Survival’s sets are a perfect blend of past and present sounds. They themselves have contributed to and expanded these sounds with their skillful productions and collaboration through their releases on some of the most exciting European labels.
In 2008 they have founded the project IANVS71 a creative playground of a label whose aim is to promote new ideas in dance music.
