Aga Syed Hassan Mosvi Lahori Kashmiri born Wahabpora, Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India 1880; died Kashmiri Gate, Lahore, Pakistan 1970) was a teacher of Quranic philosophy, hadith, marsiya, Jurisprudence, and the Arabic and Persian languages. He preached in Pakistan from 1940 until his death. He also translated Kashmiri marsiyas into other languages. Kashmiri had two sons, Aga Syed Abdullah Lahori and Aga Syed Hussain Mosvi, and seven daughters. His grandson Syed Zulfikar Ali Mosvi inaugurated the Almehdi Islamic Library and Raheislam. He is remembered in the month of Zelhajah every year by his students and family members. Raheislam has a plan to publish his biography in the Urdu language.
