Swami Satya Prakash Saraswati

Swami Satya Prakash Saraswati (1905-1995) was the editor and author of commentary for a complete edition of the four Vedas, viz. the Samhitas of the Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and Atharvaveda. His many other published works cover topics of Hinduism influenced by Swami Dayananda Saraswati's Arya Samaj reform movement. Saraswati was born in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. He was the son of pundit Ganga Prasad Upadhyaya, himself a dedicated Arya Samaji writer. Saraswati was a chemist, promoting at the Allahabad University in 1932. He served as head of the chemistry department of the Allahabad University.
