Introduction Suspension Training is a new fitness training style which uses a suspended device, usually called suspension trainer, to use one's own body weight and gravity to perform multi-planar, compound exercise movements that develop strength, balance, flexibility, and joint stability simultaneously.
Suspension Training was a concept created and practiced by a Navy Seals 13 years veteran , Stanford MBA graduate Randy Hendrick. You can find recently published articles introducing TRX Suspension Trainer and Suspension Training on many well known national online/offline magazines such as Time Magazine, Outside Magazine, Wall Street Journal, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, The New York Times , and Men's Health.
There are many ways to learn suspension training. A company called Fitness Anywhere, Inc. offers a one day Suspension Training Courses nation wide (USA, sometime at UK, Japan and other countries).
