Fitness Friday

Fitness Friday: originating in Sports Medicine and PT by Ryan (PTA) and Joanne (ATC), Fitness Friday refers to the meeting of individuals at the end of the week (Friday) in order to motivate and encourage each other to work out (Fitness). Workouts may vary from Crossfit-type workouts consisting of short-duration, high-intensity bouts of work with varying loads to more "traditional" workouts covering various body parts (i.e. a combination of chest/back exercises). However, notably the most efficient and productive workouts to date have been those that consist of, either partially or wholly, squats in one form or another (see also strength, power, ability to rule the world or world rulers).
It is necessary to reiterate at this time that squats can and should be performed whenever possible in order to get the most out of one's workout and to miximize full strength potential. It should be noted at this time that while squats can and will help to maximize one's ability to be better than everyone else, correct technique and weight-to-body-mass is critical during execution.
While Fitness Friday is referred back to the PTA and ATC mentioned above, it is not limited to just this pair. Other very notable PTAs/ATCs have participated in these workouts at one point or another, and many still continue their own form today, although whether the proper squat technique and weight-to-body-mass ratios are being observed is still in debate.
