The Paris Hilton Energy Plan was a policy position that became known during the 2008 U.S. presidential election campaign, through a viral video featuring the entrepreneur, actress and singer Paris Hilton. Viral video On August 6, 2008, Paris Hilton responded to John McCain's anti-Obama campaign ad titled "Celeb,", in which McCain alleged Obama to be a celebrity akin to Britney Spears and Hilton, by declaring her own candidacy on Will Ferrell's funnyordie.com. In her video, she explains her stance on foreign oil dependency, concluding her declaration by saying "I'll see you at the debates, bitches."
