Super Dominica is a the featured super hero in the comic "The Dominican Patriot" She was originally created by digital artist, Albert Pierre on November 17, 2004. Her costume design was designed, in part, by Josanna Lockhart Browne. The costume represents the island of Dominica as it clearly highlights the national flag colors in the form of a super suit and cape.
Super Dominica is the result of a transformation that alter ego Claire Valmond goes through when unleashes the mystic Kalinago Super Power embedded within her. If she is no longer able to battle as Super Dominica, she will transform back to Claire. Super Dominica, has super strength, fast but barely breaking the sound barrier. She has ability to communicate with nature and animals and manipulate water. She can withstand heavy blows. She is more of a brawler than the strategy type; has a serious problem with sometimes wasting attacks on opponents by missing or being over confident Super Dominica is more effective on a sunny cloudless day. She is a bit weaker at night or on a cloudy day. She can fly and has a pet Sisserou Parrot which can expand into a giant bird. She is able to transform even further into the "Legendary Kalinago Warrior" however this is totally involuntary and doesn't seem to happen unless the "island" of Dominica is under a serious threat of being destroyed.
