Lalaloopsy

The Lalaloopsy (formerly Bitty Buttons) are rag dolls created by MGA Entertainment in 2010. They are a modern twist on the rag doll aimed at girls, and their slogan is ‘Sew Magical, Sew Cute!’ The Lalaloopsy dolls magically come to life, taking on the personalities of the fabrics that were used to make them.
History
The brand, made by MGA Entertainment (also responsible for Moxie Girlz, Bratz and KaChooz), was established in 2010 as ‘Bitty Buttons,’ but eventually the name was changed to Lalaloopsy. The original eight character line-up was released in 2010, as well as three fashion packs.
Characters
*Jewel Sparkles was made from a remnants of a real princess Dress on March 13 (Jewel Day).She is a graceful, a little bit bossy and loves to pick out sparkly clothes. She has a pet Persian Cat.
*Crumbs Sugar Cookie was made from pieces of a baking apron on December 4 (National Cookie Day).She is super-sweet, has perfect manners and loves to invite friends over for tea and treats. She has a pet Mouse.

*Mittens Fluff 'N' Stuff was made from pieces of an Eskimos scarf on December 21 (First day of Winter).She loves hot cocoa, snowball fights, skiing down Snowy Hills and snuggling next to the Fire. She has a pet Polar bear.

*Pillow Featherbed was made from pieces of a baby's blankie on January 3 (Festival of Sleep day).She loves good stories, long naps and her favourite is milk and cookies. She has a pet Sheep.
*Spot Splatter Splash was made from a painters overalls on October 25 (Artist Picasso's B-day).She's super creative and loves bright colours, big messes and eating Spaghetti and she loves painting. She has a pet Zebra.

*Peanut Big Top (Sister of Butter Top Small) was made from bits of brightly-coloured clown costume on April 1 (April fool's day). she is a silly prankster who's a little bit clumsy and loves to make her friends laugh. She has a pet elephant.

*Dot Starlight was made from a real astronauts space suit on July 20 (First man on the moon). She's who loves science, and she has always had her head in the Clouds. She has a pet Bird.
*Bea Spells-A-Lot was made from a school girl's Uniform on October 16 (Dictionary Day). She is a real Smarty-pants, who always follows the rules and loves to talk....A LOT. She has a pet owl.

*Tippy Tumblelina was made from a Ballerina's tutu on February 2 (Two-Two, or Tutu). She's a girly girl, who loves to be on the stage....even thought she falls off it every once in awhile. She has a pet Swan.

*Blossom Flowerpot was sewn from a pair of Gardner's glove on April 22 (Earth Day). She is super Patient and caring,always cheerful, and loves to dig around in the dirt. She has a pet Butterfly.

*Patch Treasurechest was made from a real Pirate's Clothes on September 19 (Talk like a Pirate Day). He's a clutter-bug, who loves to collect shiny things. But Got trouble following Maps. He has a pet Parrot.
*Cotton Hoppalong was made from bunny slippers on March 21 (First Day of Spring). She's a bundle of energy who's always bouncing around hatching crazy ideas. She also loves...but she doesn't like to share! She has a pet Cockerel.

*Sunny Side Up (Twin of Berry Jars 'N' Jam) was made from a farmer's shirt and overalls on October 12 (Old farmers day). She loves waking up at dawn, caring for animals, and eating HUGE breakfasts! She has a pet Chick.

*Berry Jars 'N' Jam (Twin of Sunny Side Up) was made from a farmer's shirt and overalls on October 12 (Old Farmers day). She's a hard worker, who's a bit nosy, and makes the highest stacks of Buttermilk pancakes.She has a pet Cow.

*Sahara Mirage was made from pieces of a real Genies veil on January 13 (Make Your Dream Come True Day). She's a real charmer, who's scared of the dark, and always pops up when she's least expected. She has a pet Camel.
*Marina Anchors was made from a sailor's uniform on June 8th (World Ocean Day). She's super neat, and she always keeps everything ship shape. She also loves the ocean, even though she can't swim. She has a pet whale.
*Misty Mysterious was made from a magician's cape on March 24th (Houdini's Birthday). She loves secrets and surprises, and she's always got something up her sleeve. She has a pet Rabbit.
*Lady Stillwaiting (Twin of Sir Battlescarred)was made from a fair maiden's dress on February 26th (Tell a Fairy Tale Day). She's a romantic who loves singing, reading poetry, and waving from the balcony...even if nobody's there. She has a pet unicorn
*Swirly Figure Eight was made from pieces of a glitter ice skaters costume on October 2 (National Ice Skate off Day). She's a really a swirly little thing, she loves to skate about the ice, she loves spinning around even though she gets really Dizzy Wizzy. She has a pet Penguin.

*Peppy Pom Poms was made from a real cheerleaders pom pom on June 23 (Footcookie National Day). She loves to be Happy and she loves to have Fish and Chips with BBQ Sauce and she loves Lalaloopsy Footcookie Team. She has a pet Lazarapso Dog.

*Sir Battlescarred (Twin of Lady Stillwaiting) was made from pieces of a Knights armour on May 29 (End of middle ages Day). He loves to play fight, play archery and storming the castles......even though that it is no one there. He has a pet Dragon.

*Ace Fender Bender was made from a Mechanic's overalls on July 30 (Speedy Ford's B-day). He likes to put things a part and she likes oil and sliding down but he doesn't like putting things together. He has a pet Monkey.
*Pepper Pots 'N' Pans was made from a Chef's oven mitt on June 2 (Eat all your vegetables Day). She loves cooking veg and loves to make vegetable pie and she will share it. She has a pet Pig.

*Suzette La Sweet was made from pieces of a French Duchess's Dress on December 9 (National Pastry Day). Her Favourite Hobbies are lounging about, eating fancy Pastries and strolling in the gardens at Loving Palace of Pastry. She has a pet Poodle.

*Ember Flicker Flame. He has a pet Phoenix.
*Rosy Bumps 'N' Bruises. She has a pet Peacock.
*Fleur Balliacour. She has a pet Thestral.
*Victor Bangstrumgs. He has a pet Serpent.
Feature-length film
According to MGA Entertainment, there will be a direct-to-video Lalaloopsy movie released in Spring 2012. The film will feature the original eight characters from the Lalaloopsy line-up.
