Aubreigh Paige Wyatt (March 17, 2010 - September 4, 2023) was a 13-year-old American student and victim of bullying who committed suicide. Her death attracted worldwide media attention. Background Aubreigh Paige Wyatt was born in Ocean Springs, Mississippi to Ocean Springs elementary school teacher Heather Wyatt. She attended Ocean Springs Middle School. At the end of her 7th grade year she was sexually assaulted by a male student who she thought was her friend during a baseball game. Her mother Heather Wyatt filed a report but the school did nothing. Her mother stated that she had been bullied since the fifth grade but in eight grade her 4 bullies posted a video on their Snapchats of them pretending Aubreigh was a doll. They beat up and stabbed the doll. |
