Luke Hellier

Luke Hellier is an American politician who became mayor of Lakeville, Minnesota since 2023. Before becoming mayor, he was a member of the Lakeville City Council from 2017 to 2023.
Personal life
Hellier and his wife Josi have five children.
Political career
Early in his career, Hellier worked for Michele Bachmann, Erik Paulsen, and the Minnesota Senate Republican Caucus. In 2014, he joined Public Affairs Co., a public relations firm based in Minnesota.
In 2016, Hellier announced his run for Lakeville City Council. He was the leading vote-getter in the election that November. He was re-elected in 2020.
In 2022, Lakeville mayor Doug Anderson announced his retirement. Hellier filed to run for the seat, and was elected without opposition. He took office on January 3, 2023.
