Edward M. Flynn is an American politician. He is a current member of the Boston City Council from District 2 in Massachusetts since January 1, 2018. Flynn served in the U.S. Navy for 25 years. He was also a probation officer at the Suffolk Superior Court., Flynn also served for five years in the United States Department of Labor under President Bill Clinton. Raymond Flynn, former mayor of Boston and former United States Ambassador to the Holy See, is Edward Flynn's father.
