Edward M. Flynn

Edward M. Flynn is an American politician. He is a current member of the Boston City Council from District 2 in Massachusetts since January 1, 2018. Flynn served in the U.S. Navy for 25 years. He was also a probation officer at the Suffolk Superior Court., Flynn also served for five years in the United States Department of Labor under President Bill Clinton.
Raymond Flynn, former mayor of Boston and former United States Ambassador to the Holy See, is Edward Flynn's father.

Flynn ran first in 2017 for Boston City Council from district 2.He defeated Michael S. Kelly in the November 7 election with 7,474 votes (51.61% of the total votes).
