Sue Monroe is a British presenter, children's TV personality, professional puppeteer. Sue Monroe was a continuity presenter for the BBC's television channel for young children, CBeebies, providing links alongside fellow presenters Sidney Sloane, Pui Fan Lee, Chris Jarvis and Nicole Davis. She joined the presentation team shortly after the station launched and remained a presenter until March 2006. She has a son called Will and a cat called Nemo and used to have a dog called Betsy. Monroe has provided voices and has puppeteered for a number of children's shows, including Poppy in Playdays, Tiggs in The Shiny Show, and also Webster for CBeebies continuity links. She has also worked as a presenter for Radio Five. She was the main continuity presenter of the ' strand for the breakfast TV station GMTV, broadcast on ITV1 at weekends and on ITV4 and the CITV Channel most weekdays from 2007. Sue has written a children's book 'Lily Duck and The Black and White Thing', due for publication in 2010. |
