Adrian Clarkson

Adrian Clarkson (born 18 March 1971) in Truro, Cornwall, is a radio presenter who also does voiceovers for radio & TV commercials. He's presented on many radio stations around the South of England and is currently at Time 106.6 presenting The Big Drive Home. He often does corporate narration and provides voices on many arcade game machines. Adrian also presents TV reports from some of the biggest West End movie premieres in London, interviewing the stars and other celebrities that turn up on the night.
Early life and career
Adrian's radio career starting in 1996 when he joined Spire FM in his hometown of Salisbury to present the Evening Show. He then left in 1999 to join the Capital Radio Cafe's in Southampton and Leicester Square, London. Whilst working there Adrian joined the Capital Radio Group covering shifts on Power FM and Ocean FM.
From there he joined the GWR Radio Group presenting Drivetime on 2CR FM in Bournemouth for two and a half years before being offered Breakfast at a new radio venture being launch at Southampton Football Club called The Saint. Adrian then worked for Kick FM in Newbury for a year presenting Drivetime and then went to 2-TEN FM in Reading formerly part of G-Cap Media (former Capital/GWR) where Adrian presented various shifts including Saturdays 3-7pm & Sundays 6-10am and weekday swing shifts covering all major shows on the station. He was also a swing presenter for GWR FM (Bristol & Bath) covering shifts when other presenters were on holiday or off-sick.
Adrian left G-Cap Media at the end of 2008 after joining Andover Sound at the beginning of December 2008 to present their new breakfast show - Adrian Clarkson at Breakfast before moving to the afternoon/drive show in August 2009. He also presented The Next Big Thing on Sundays from 7pm with co-presenter Shirley Swain. Guests on the show included Stereophonics, White Lies, Editors, Elliot Minor, Madina Lake, Daniel Merriweather, Fightstar, Kids In Glass Houses, Kid British, Noisettes, Maxïmo Park plus local bands Sion, In Darklight & The Fortunate. From March 2010 the show was also broadcast on Newbury Sound. Adrian left the daytime line-up and The Next Big Thing at the end of May 2010 but continued to present on the station Sundays 10am-3pm until the end of February 2011 when he joined Time 106.6 to present The Big Drive Home 4-8pm weekdays.
Music Management
Adrian also runs AEC Music Management which has worked with various bands and artists including Pierre Lewis, Flyright, Robert O'Connor & Chris Passey. Adrian is currently managing Liam Madison, Nigel Passey & Element 4 (a boyband put together after auditions in April 2011 at the world famous Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden, London).
