Suck UK

Suck UK Ltd is a London-based wholesale product design and merchandising retailer company.
History
Suck UK creates and develops innovative product design pieces. SUCK UK has worked with television shows such as Pop Idol and Big Brother.
This limited company was founded in 1999 by Sam Hurt and Jude Biddulph. Both graduated from Central St Martins College of Art and Design, London in 1996. Following a chance meeting as postgraduates they exchanged ideas and established a similar career direction resulting in a mutual agreement to collaborate their work. They moved into a North London squat and from there they began to produce prototypes and establish the rudiments of supply and distribution. The partnership proved a success and their hard work and commitment rewarded them with growth in productivity. In 2002 they moved into offices in London's East End, but not before the police raided their base.
Since then the company has continued to develop their brand and have received recognition from various awarding bodies exhibiting design pieces under the Coin Street Community Builders trust in the OXO Tower.
Production
Following a surge in Chinese industrial output and a competitive manufacturing market, Suck UK has seen much of their production now moved to China.
Designers
The company designs the majority of the products that they manufacture. However, Hurt and Biddulph also select outside input and have worked with other designers, such as Tobias Wong, to create an environmentally friendly composition.
