Stina battle

Mary-Christina Battle, known professionally as Stina Battle (born December 7, 2000) is an American singer and songwriter. Born in San Diego, California, she began making music in 2019, releasing her first breakout single Uninvited in 2020. Battle began making music after being displaced due to a detrimental house fire in 2019, and since then, she has written and released numerous songs and has collaborated with other high-profile artists and producers.
Early life and education
Born in San Diego and raised in Burbank, California; Battle has been performing since she was 7 years old and has been taught by music industry titans including Grammy-winning singer Darlene Koldenhoven and acclaimed singer Brandy Norwood's father Willie Norwood during her upbringing. She then attended John Burroughs High School where she was a part of the internationally recognized show choir "Powerhouse" an advanced mixed show choir for four years; Powerhouse has appeared on Oprah, Ellen, The Voice, and America's Got Talent. During her time in Powerhouse, Battle has performed at high-profile venues including The Grand Ole Opry and the LACMA 50th anniversary.
Upon graduating high school, Battle attended California State University, Northridge where she majored in Theatre and completed her Bachelor's degree in 2021. During her third year of school, her home burned down due to an electrical fire. Impacted by this event, Battle began writing songs while displaced, where she wrote her first single Uninvited which was met with critical and commercial success.
Career
Battle has performed her original songs at the Crypto.com Arena for the Los Angeles Sparks basketball team halftime show including her songs "WINNING SZN", and "Prom Queen" as well as the national anthem on multiple occasions. Known for her signature mezzo-soprano range and raspy vocal performance, Battle is known for her RnB-Pop sound. With her singles, Battle's content has amassed over 10 million views online to date.
