Ethan Brehm

Ethan Brehm (born June 25, 1989) is a rapper, singer, musician, and screenwriter from the San Leandro, California. Also known as his stage name, The Twiz or simply as Ethan, he began recording music in 2007, but has been songwriting as early as 12-years-old. He emerged into the music scene in late 2007 with his remix of Ne-Yo's "So Sick" which featured rapper and friend, LeGit, and singer/producer, Kevin Lien. Along with his music ventures, Ethan has written two films and is resuming pre-production work on his long awaited film A Change Is Gonna Come. He has been hailed as one of the most promising and up-and-coming artists of his generation.
Early life
Ethan Brehm was born Ethan Allen Brehm in San Leandro, California, where he lived for all of his childhood. Son of Bernadette and Jeffrey Brehm, Ethan was raised Roman Catholic, and to this day is still a devout Catholic. He attended Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, California, where he wrote a poem that was entered into the American Library of Poetry Book of Exellence in 2006. Since fall 2007, he has attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and is currently studying Mechanical Engineering.
Music career
At the age of 3, Ethan began playing the piano, and since the age of 9, Ethan has played the saxophone. He also plays the trombone and is an experienced percussionist. In high school, he played in a jazz band for two years. Ethan was also in the musical Guys and Dolls in high school and possesses a four-octave vocal range. After releasing several singles, he is currently working on his first rap album.
Television
Ethan was featured in an episode of in January, 2008 on the segment, "You Catch It, You Keep It."
Film
In late 2008, Ethan wrote his first screenplay, A Change Is Gonna Come, but has put it on hold temporarily. Although, in 2009, he completed the screenplay for the short film, Hotel, in which he also did the voice-over for. The film was featured in the Digital Media Film Festival at Cal Poly Pomona.
