Steve Schwartz and Paula Mae Schwartz

Steve Schwartz, Paula Mae Schwartz, and Roger Schwartz are American film producers who are also a family. Steve and Paula Mae made their fortune after they founded a major public relations firm, Schwartz Communications, in 1990. When they stepped down from their positions of CEO and COO, respectively, in 2009, they turned their attention to their film production company, "Chockstone Pictures". They have since produced several major American independent films including The Road (2009), The Tree of Life (2011) and The Counselor (2013). Steve is a graduate of Bowdoin College. Their son, Roger Schwartz, a former TV meteorologist and graduate of Kenyon College, joined Chockstone Pictures as Development Executive in May 2008. He has since been a co-producer on Killing Them Softly and and has been instrumental in acquiring and developing new projects.
