Steve Krause

Steve Krause (born 19 April 1958) is a martial arts instructor from Glasgow, Scotland. He received his Black Belt in Taekwondo from General Choi Hong Hi, and was among the first student's of Master Rhee Ki Ha after he brought taekwondo to the United Kingdom and opened his first academy in Glasgow.
Personal life
Steve Krause is the son of a Polish national who fought with the British Army during World War 2 and was demoblized to Scotland at the end of the war. Steve was born and brought up in Glasgow, Scotland. At an early age he developed a keen interest in martial arts. Steve was an undefeated European champion and a member of the elite team and demonstration team which followed Master Rhee Ki Ha around Europe. After achieving great success in Taekwondo Steve travelled to the United States where he became a student of Dan Inosanto in The Art and Philosophy of Jeet Kune Do, Filipino martial arts, Shoot wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Silat, mixed martial arts and other arts at his Marina del Rey, California school, the Inosanto Academy of Martial Arts. Steve was, for many years, a licensed instructor of the Inosanto Academy. Among his notable students is Scottish actor .
Career
Steve became a martial arts instructor with his brother Mike Krause and in the late 1970s they opened The Krauseworld International Martial Arts Academy, the first international martial arts academy in Scotland at that time. Having appeared extensively in local and UK media, Steve and his brother came to the attention of acclaimed Scot's Writer and film-maker and subsequently hired as martial arts consultant's and given a part in his kung-fu flick The Purifiers.
