The Lok Jan Shakti party is a state political party in the state Bihar, India. It is led by Ram Vilas Paswan. The party was formed in 2000 when Paswan split from Janata Dal (United). Though over the years it has become a national party contesting election in over 12 states in India. In 2002, Paswan went on to create a students wing of his party to look after the rights of students in Bihar and in other parts of the country.CHATRA LOK JANSHAKTI has been actively working since then for students rights. In 2011 it contested DUSU elections and secured a decent number. Atul Karn Shambhav was CLJ'S candidate for the post of post of president. |
