Stan Bernstein is a former United States Bankruptcy Judge in the Eastern District of New York. He was appointed to that position in 1996 and resigned in 2007. Law career He previously served in the same capacity in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, from 1982 to 1984. Author He is the author of Collier on Compensation, Employment and Appointment of Trustees and Professionals in Bankruptcy Cases (1987-2000) and a contributing author to Collier on Bankruptcy (15th ed. rev. 1997-2000). Professorship He currently serves as a professor of law at John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, GA. He has also served as a Professor at Touro Law School in New York. |
