Robert Sirianni

Robert L. Sirianni, Jr. (born May 11, 1978) is a licensed Florida attorney, member of The Florida Bar. He was appointed by governor Charlie Crist to serve on the nominating committee for the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. He has published articles in the Orlando Sentinel.
Early life and family
Robert Sirianni, Jr. was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of Robert Sirianni, Sr. and Fran Sirianni. He is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he graduated with a degree in Political Science (2000). Later, he obtained a JD from the University Of Denver - Sturm College Of Law (2003), and MBA from Rollins College - Crummer School of Business, (2007). Sirianni also attended the University of London (1999) as well as the George Mason University School of Law where he studied law and economics (2003).
Career
Sirianni is the owner of three businesses: Brownstone, P.A., an appellate litigation law firm located in the State of Florida; Rand Title Corporation, a full service Title & Escrow company that conducts closings and title agent services; and Crush Metals, Inc., an international scrap metal recycling brokerage firm, which buys recycled scrap metal and sells such products to overseas consumers and companies located in Hong Kong, Vietnam, and China.
While on the Judicial Nominating Commission, Sirianni presided over the recommendation and eventual appointment of hundreds of judicial candidates. According to The Florida Bar, in June 2011, Sirianni presided over the recommendation and appointment of serval Judges from Orange County, Florida.
In addition, as a trial attorney and prosecutor, he tried over thirty cases. During his work as a prosecutor and appellate lawyer, Sirianni was responsible for numerous cases involving the government, including cases involving the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, where he was quoted on high profile, public cases, according to the publication Investment News.
He also clerked for the United States Department of Justice, Office of the Solicitor General (Solicitor Theodore Olson). While working for Solicitor Ted Olson, he assisted U.S. Department of Justice attorneys by drafting appellate briefs filed in the United States Supreme Court and United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit. Sirianni also worked for the White House (President George Bush), U.S. House of Representatives (Congressman John Mica), and U.S. Senate (Senator Connie Mack). In 1999, he worked in the British House of Commons (Tory Party) for Sir Paul Beresford.
Political appointments and community leadership
Sirianni was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist to a three (3) year term to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the State of Florida. Such appointment was confirmed by the Orange County Bar Association publications in Central Florida. He is also founder and President of the Orlando Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy (2003-present). Sirianni is a Freemason and member of the local Orlando Masonic Lodge (69), serving on the fundraising and charitable outreach committees.
Personal
Sirianni is married to Natalie Sirianni and has one son, Peter Sirianni. His favorite author is Ayn Rand. He plays sports, including rugby, where he plays the position of outside center.
