Spring Valley Bible Church

Spring Valley Bible Church
existed from 1980 to 2005 in Lawton, Oklahoma. The founding pastor was Hainds Laird, and he remained as pastor until the church disbanded in 2005. The church began meeting in the gymnasium of the Lawton Christian School west of Lawton, Oklahoma, and eventually purchased and moved in to a former Episcopal church building where the church met until it was disbanded. Laird is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas, and Denver Seminary. Spring Valley Bible Church had ties with the Fishmarket, an early Christian coffee house ministry in Lawton, Oklahoma, and Lethbridge Christian Tabernacle in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
Laird and Bill Roycroft (deceased 2009), pastor of Lethbridge Christian Tabernacle, were instrumental in founding the Fishmarket and frequently travelled to and ministered at each other’s churches.
