Spiderworld

Spiderworld is a band started in 2001 by Dutchman Jim Reijers. In 2003, from Valencia (Spain) joined him. Jim draws influences from bands like The Cure, Joy Division, Cocteau Twins and Strawberry Switchblade; the apocalyptic folk of Death In June and Current 93; and by a variety of other bands, such as the The Flaming Lips, Spinvis and the Stone Roses. In October 2005, a fifteen-track debut album (Four Of Us On June Lake) was released through the duo's own Fleurs Arctiques label. The Going Home EP was released in October 2008. Spiderworld are currently working on their second album, The Fields. |
