Armed With Sodas

Armed With Sodas was a band performing from 2001 to 2005. It was founded by guitarist Buckethead.
History
Armed With Sodas was formed in San Francisco by lifelong friends Buckethead, Jack White of The White Stripes, Patrick Carney of The Black Keys and Les Claypool. Jack White met Patrick Carney in 1993, when he was attending his currently girlfriends' party in Ohio, in which Patrick helped organise. Patrick had known Les from a Primus concert he attended in which Les allowed certain audience members to talk to him after the concert. The two found they had many things in common and became instant friends. Les introduced Patrick and Jack to Buckethead, who was a local performer in San Francisco in which Les desired.
The band performed their first gig in late 2001 at a local pub. Though trying to receive a major record label, Jack instead signed the band to his own label, Third Man Records.

Break Up
The band split in early 2005 due to members focusing on their other bands more than Armed With Sodas.
