Southampton First is a local political party based in Southampton, Hampshire. Founded in 2007 by local resident Peter Knight, candidates have contested the Southampton local elections annually. Since 2010, the party has been revitalised by a influx of new, young and good looking candidates keen to exploit their passion for local politics. In the Southampton Council election, 2011, Southampton First secured over 500 votes (a 0.8% share).
