SosMula

Vinicius Sosa (born 19 April 1988), known professionally as SosMula, is a Brazilian-American rapper and songwriter. He is one-half of the trap metal duo City Morgue, consisting of rapper ZillaKami.
Early life
SosMula was born in the favelas of São Paulo, Brazil in 1988. He would live in São Paulo until the age of two, before migrating to the United States and residing in the Stanley M. Isaacs Housing Projects located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan - an area dubbed as the "Spanish Harlem." In Manhattan, his mother worked as a tattoo artist at her own tattoo shop and his father worked as a construction worker.
Career
SosMula began rapping in the tenth grade. Upon the release of this song, SosMula forged plans to release two other bodies of work, with the first being an EP titled "City of Godz" and the second being a mixtape titled "90 Thousand in Dimes."
After spending an extensive part of his youth in jail, SosMula decided to clear the slate and moved to Brooklyn, New York in early 2016, where he was swiftly introduced to ZillaKami through his tattoo shop's employee "Righteous P" - the older brother of ZillaKami. After realizing that they share musical chemistry, SosMula and ZillaKami both began experimenting with music and trying to craft a unique "trap metal" sound. After debuting their first music video together in early 2018 for the song "SHINNERS13", they released the Be Patient EP on SoundCloud, consisting of 3 songs. Soon after this release, they signed a record deal with Republic Records under the Hikari-ULTRA sub-label and released their debut studio album on October 12, 2018, titled .
On December 13, 2019, City Morgue released their sophomore album, City Morgue Vol 2: As Good as Dead.
On July 31, 2020, City Morgue released the project Toxic Boogaloo.
On August 20, 2021, SosMula released his debut solo album 13 SONGS 2 DIE 2.
On October 15, 2021, City Morgue released their third studio album, City Morgue Vol 3: Bottom of the Barrel.
On April 22, 2022, SosMula released his sophomore solo album titled 2 HIGH 2 DIE and shortly released its deluxe version on June 17, 2022 with 6 new songs, totaling 26 songs for the entire project.
On July 15, 2022, SosMula released a collaborative EP with rapper OTL Beezy, titled BODYBAG MUSIK.
On July 22, 2022, SosMula released an EP produced entirely by the producer Ryder Johnson, titled CrashOutBoyz.
On December 1, 2022, SosMula released an EP produced entirely by the producer Synthetic, titled SLEEZ MACHINE.
On September 15, 2023, City Morgue released their final studio album titled My Bloody America.
On June 14, 2024, SosMula released the single "SLASHER PT. 2". On July 5, 2024, he released the single "SLEEZY BASTARD (SLASHER PT. 1)". On August 23, 2024, he released the single "BOOGIE MAN." These singles were followed by the release of his album SLEEZ RELIGION on September 13, 2024.

SosMula cites his influences as Marilyn Manson, Deftones, Bob Marley, Slipknot, James Brown, Dipset, DMX, State Property, Weezer, Green Day, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Biggie, Tupac, Eminem, Jay-Z and various R&B compositions he heard during his childhood.<ref name":1" /><ref name":3" /><ref name":5" /><ref name":6" />
