Sorenson Companies is a privately owned parent company of over thirty subsidiaries. It was founded by James LeVoy Sorenson. Its subsidiaries are involved with biomedical equipment, real estate, genetic testing, and hygienic testing. They currently employ 510 people and are based in Utah. Although they started in medical device research and development they are perhaps best known for the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation and its contribution to genetic genealogy. |
