SleekPay is an online payment gateway for Kenya that allows businesses/individuals to accept secure payments from customers. Merchants and buyers use the SleekPay virtual payment gateway to manage, authorize and settle transactions in real time. Overview SleekPay is owned and operated by Sleekpay Limited, a registered technology company in Kenya. The online system was designed and developed to fully introduce e-commerce in Kenya and the East African Region. The system's development is supervised by Mr. Alex Bengo, who is the Chief Technology Officer at Sleekpay Limited. The company is currently in partnership with Ebits Online to develop, host and market professional e-commerce websites for all its clients. Sleekpay Ltd is partnering with many service providers and e-commerce website owners in Kenya and the region to enable them sell online and get paid securely. The system currently supports M-Pesa, Zap, YUCASH, Cash, Wire Transfer and Cheque with Western Union Money Transfer soon to be introduced as forms of account top-up methods, to make the whole process flexible for the online buyer. Products and services Merchant account SleekPay provides Internet Merchant Accounts to e-commerce website owners that allows them to accept payments online. The online payment processor uses sophisticated technology to process online transactions and provide relevant reporting to both merchants and customers. The web-based merchant interface allows one to view all transactions, configure account settings, view account statements, generate reports and much more. Personal account SleekPay Personal Account is completely free. There are no charges by SleekPay for using the system to make online payments to their accredited merchants. SleekPay provides dual email communication from the systems to facilitate confirmation and tracking of transactions. Money transfer Members can send money to another SleekPay member. There is no limit to the amount being sent (at the moment) or frequency of sending. A fee of Ksh 10 is charged for this process. Topup methods Topup is made using MPESA, ZAP, YUCASH, wire transfer, cheque, bank deposit, bank transfer or cash at the office (or specified agents), the minimum topup amount is Ksh 500. Support Sleekpay employs a lacklustre support team to provide support via email, telephone or online chat. A ticketing system is also available for tracking and resolving issues. Security The system runs on a 256-bit secure, encryption, SSL (Secure Socket Layer) environment. Furthermore, it has its a built-in security engine. SleekPay Accounts (Personal and Merchant) are completely secured, both at the server and browser level.
