RecargaPay is a mobile payments platform that provides airtime and bill payments for the mobile generation, operating in Brazil and Latin America. The company processes transactions in Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, United States and Spain and works with more than 20 mobile carriers and the various credit cards and alternative ways of payment. RecargaPay is headquartered in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and also operates in São Paulo, Brazil. History RecargaPay was founded and incubated by Fnbox in 2010. Fnbox was a holding company that managed various online properties, such as Sonico.com, which was sold to Match/IAC in 2014; Tarjetastelefonicas.com; Cuponica.com, which was sold to Clickon in 2015; and Recarga.com (now RecargaPay). RecargaPay was created to provide prepaid mobile recharge services through a website and shortly after it launched a mobile app. Two years ago Fnbox started a transformation to unbundle and focus 100% of its efforts in the "Recarga" business. Within this process, Recarga.com was rebranded to RecargaPay in order to diversify the product offering. According to CEO Rodrigo Teijeiro's latest public statement, RecargaPay is expanding to be a technology platform that solves everyday payments, providing utility bill payments in addition to prepaid mobile recharges. Product [RecargaPay's app is API based and compatible with various platforms such as Windows, Android and iOS. In order to process their payments, RecargaPay uses a PCI-DSS payment platform with multiple local & international acquirers, capable of processing third party transactions. Partners RecargaPay works in Brazil with various mobile operators, such as Tim, Vivo, Oi, Claro and Nextel, Brazil Telecom Algar, as well as in other six countries (Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Spain,and United States). It has partnered with multiple national and international banks for credit card, debit card, and netbanking payments. Among the distinguished partners RecargaPay works with payment platforms Cielo, Getnet e Rede, and with credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Elo, Hiper e Hipercard, American Express and Cartão. Team Key management personnel comprise Rodrigo Teijeiro (Founder and CEO), Álvaro Teijeiro (Co-founder and CTO), Gustavo Victorica (Co-founder and COO) and Diego Escobar (CFO).
