WorldNet TPS

Worldnet is a provider of enterprise grade Omni-channel Payment Platform solutions to an established base of international corporate clients in North America and Europe. Worldnet is based in Dublin, Ireland.
History
Worldnet was established in 2007 by Billy Saunderson, Will Byrne and Dr. John Clarke. Both Billy Saunderson and Will Byrne were a part of the team which set-up Elavon (formerly EuroConex). Dr. John Clarke joined Billy Saunderson and Will Byrne at Elavon when Elavon acquired Flexicom in 2001.
In 2014 the business relocated to Cherrywood Business and Technology Park in Dublin, where the company headquarters is now located.
Products and Services
Worldnet provide a fully hosted version of the Worldnet Platform, to deliver an advanced range of ‘own-brand’ EMV-enabled products and services across multiple payment channels including eCommerce, Mobile, PoS and iPoS. The Platform is highly scalable and provides both multi-currency processing and multi-lingual support capabilities.
Worldnet also provide payment solutions to the retail market. Traditionally offering eCommerce solutions, Worldnet also developed the first mobile payment app in Europe to allow companies take credit card payments via either iPhone, iPad or Android devices.
Worldnet also offer a Virtual Terminal solution for businesses operating from an office environment.
In 2016, Worldnet became an official supplier of Apple Pay in the United States and Canada.
Additional Features
Worldnet offer a range of value-added features for their merchants. These include a back-end reporting system, a secure card storage facility and a fraud and risk checking tool available for eCommerce transactions.
Worldnet has also developed a pre-certified, EMV enabled SDK. "GoCHIP" enables software companies to provide payment processing solutions to their clients, and offers a complete suite of integrated omni-channel credit and debit card processing capabilities.
Software providers also benefit from Worldnet’s Level 1 PCI DSS certification.
Partners
Worldnet's Payment-as-a-Service (PaaS) model enables their partners to outsource their entire payment function or to integrate specific processes into their existing systems. Worldnet currently has an array of partnerships from across the globe, including: GlobalOnePay, Bluefin Payment Systems, Pago Technology, Pivotal Payments and Payius AB.
Developers
Worldnet also offers developers a wide range of shopping cart plugins and product APIs for use with websites or back-end applications.
