Skymartbw is a privately owned Botswana ecommerce startup founded in 2012 based in Gaborone. As of 2017, Skymartbw operates a website in Botswana that currently focuses on selling within the Southern African market including countries like South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Lesotho and Swaziland. The company launched its website in August 2012 with a business model of selling inventory to customers from its own warehouse. In 2016 it added a marketplace model dubbed Sky Sellers, that allowes third-party retailers and distributors to sell their products through Skymartbw's primary website. The company offers delivery only within Southern African reginal territory via door-to-door courier services such as Dr. Delivery, Botswana Post, EMS, DHL and FedEx. |
